On 6/7/ 2021, the Constitutional Court, headed by Judge Mr. Hisham Al-Tal, issued a ruling on the appeal filed by a husband against his wife in the lawsuit he filed before the Sharia Court, to differentiate
the dispute and discord between them, arguing the inequality between the means of proof for each of them, and the court ruled on the constitutionality of Article 126 of the Personal Status Law and
dismissed the appeal due to the different legal status of husband and wife.
